Anti-Inflammatory Tropical Smoothie

This smoothie is something I created to help treat my chronic pain post-workout (I have soft tissue injuries from a car accident a couple of years ago). I combined anti-inflammatory, immune boosting fruits and spices with protein powder to help build and support my muscles, and I'm quite happy with the result!

Blend the following ingredients together:
1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk (or water - taste will be less creamy but I usually do water post-workout)
1/2 to 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used 1 scoop for maximum protein intake)
1/2 cup frozen mango
3/4 cup frozen peaches
1-2 tsp ground turmeric
Dash of black pepper (to help your body absorb the turmeric)
1/2 tsp ground ginger

Enjoy! I've definitely noticed less pain flare-ups when I consume this smoothie after a workout :)
