Berry Power Smoothie
Introducing my Berry Power Smoothie 💚. It's full of anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial ingredients, as well as protein, fibre, vitamin C, manganese, vitamin K, potassium, iron, and vitamin B6. It also supports overall health, energy, and mood.
Blend the following ingredients together:
1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 a fresh banana
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup fresh spinach
1 tsp organic maca powder (if pregnant or breastfeeding speak to your doctor before using)
1/2 to 1 tsp ground turmeric
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1-2 dashes of black pepper (to help your body absorb the turmeric).
Makes 1 large serving or 2 medium sized servings. *Tip - to use this as a base for a smoothie bowl, use 1/2 to 3/4 cups almond milk instead of 1.5 cups .
