Dandelion Tea Latte

You guys, this latte is seriously one of my favourite creations.  I lovingly refer to it as a "potion" because it has so many wonderful benefits, it tastes amazing, and it's vegan and refined sugar free!  I created this recipe while doing Caffeine Free Week (put on by the lovely Lee Tilghman - she's basically my idol), and I haven't looked back since!  I've been having plain dandelion tea before my breakfast for about a month now, but ever since I created this latte I've enjoyed it so much more.  Dandelion tea has many great benefits - it promotes bile production and is great for liver function (check with your health care provider if unsure if you should be taking this).

Blend for 3 minutes:

1 - 1.5 cups steeped roasted dandelion tea (I use the Traditional Medicinals brand)
1 cup unsweetened coconut milk (heat on stovetop first)
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 serving collagen (I use WithinUs TruMarine)
1 tsp maca root powder
1 tsp ashwaganda powder
5-6 drops vanilla liquid stevia

The collagen is amazing for skin/hair/nail health, and creates such a nice foam on top of the latte.  The maca root and ashwaganda are powerful adaptogens that help balance hormones, boost stamina, and improve immunity. I wasn't kidding when I said this drink is a potion! Enjoy :)
