Matcha Latte

Matcha lattes have become a regular staple in my diet - as much as I love coffee, I'm very sensitive to it, and it's hard for me to stop at one cup! In order to give my adrenal glands a break, I've switched back to matcha, which provides a steady flow of energy, promotes concentration and clarity, and contains lots of antioxidants and fibre. This latte is also delicious, and contains lots of yummy, grounding ingredients that promote balance and homeostasis within the body.

Hot (but not boiling) water
1/2-1 tsp matcha powder
1-1.5 tbsp coconut butter
1 serving collagen (great for healthy skin, hair, nails, gut - also makes the latte nice and foamy)
1 tsp maca powder (good for mood, energy, balancing hormones)
1 tsp ashwaganda powder (helps lower cortisol and strengthen immunity)
1/2 tsp organic cinnamon (I use organic as cinnamon is one of the most heavily sprayed spices)
1/2 tsp turmeric (optional - add a dash of black pepper if you incorporate this)
1/2 tsp ginger
Liquid stevia or honey, to taste (optional)
