Vegan Chai Tea Latte

Starbucks chai tea lattes used to be my go to order - however, I've found ways to enjoy them at home, which has saved me lots of money and allowed me to nourish myself with healthy fats and healing spices.

Ingredients:

1 cup hot brewed chai tea
1/3 cup full fat canned coconut milk
1 tsp maple syrup (can omit, or substitute with stevia if desired)
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cardamom

Directions:

Heat up coconut milk in microwave or on stovetop. Add to blender with chai tea, coconut milk, maple syrup, ginger and cinnamon. Blend on low until smooth (use caution when opening blender as mixture will be hot). Pour into your favourite mug, top with cardamom (and some more cinnamon, if you'd like), and enjoy! The perfect warming beverage for a cold winter's day.
